(More customer reviews)I was taken in by the MSRP and the big ad on how they make these watches--I was surprised at how flimsy the watch is and how little it looks to be worth even the $249 price.The diamond bezel looks ridiculous--more like crushed diamond dust.The dial is overly large and the stainless steel band is not all attractive with this dial.The bands are better looking but still, it is not a great looking watch.I have bought other watches-3 now plus a Coach watch for less on Amazon and they are all of a much higher quality.Amazon has some excellent deals on great watches but this is not one of them.

(More customer reviews)I'd been waiting for this watch to come available and jumped at the chance to order it. It arrived promptly and nicely packaged from Invicta. I was impressed with the size and the appearance of the watch.

However, its quality is not what I expected. In certain angles of sunlight, you can see that the crystal is not perfectly clean on the inside of the watch! It looks like the inside of a windshield that hasn't been cleaned for months.

I've never even had this issue with my inexpensive Fossil and Swatch watches. And certainly never with my Tag watch.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

(More customer reviews)Because the wrist strap is an important part of the watch's appearance, I have to give a low ranking to the whole watch.When the mesh strap bends, it sometimes does not straighten out properly. Once bent, sharp parts of the mesh separate from the band (fray)and tear skin and clothes.It's impossible to repair this mesh band.Aside from this significant defect, the watch keeps excellent time.

And while it might be stereotypical, the truth is many of the world's finest and most accurate timing movements are created in Switzerland. (More customer reviews)This watch is a very nice timepiece.The only disappointing thing is that Amazon is selling a watch that they know nothing about.The watch has a Japanese Chronograph movement, not a swiss-quartz.And the band does not come with a double-locking deployment buckle like it says, it comes with a double-locking diver buckle.Overall I am pleased with the watch.I just hope Amazon can advertise their products a little bit better.
