This is my 2nd seiko watch. I bought another seiko because of the quality at a great price.
I already smacked this watch into a sharp edge and the face did not scratch, but I got a little scratch on the bezel, but no big deal.
The watch is beautiful except for 1 thing.
the hands and second and third inner faces are very reflective. You cant tell from the picture, but in real life, it hard to read the time sometimes, unless you move your hand a half inch in a different direction. It also gives the face a cheaper look.
But its still really nice. I'm torn, but I think I'm gonna keep it.
P.s. It also doesnt fit my hand very well. its either too loose or too tight. The only way to make adjustments is by taking out or putting in a link. Some watches have xtra small connections in the clasp but this is a double snap clasp, and has no option for that.

(More customer reviews)This is the third Invicta I recentlypurchased, (A pro Diver and another speedway with a gold finish.). Like the other two this one is an excllent value. it looks and feels like it should cost many time the actual price, and being a quartz watch it is extremely accurate and requires no periodic maintenance other than a periodic $5 battery replacement. I also own a R***x which has to be cleaned and oiled every 5 years at a cost which is more than 3 times the price of the Speedway. As a matter of fact, the Invicta is more impressive looking as it is larger. The Gun mettle finish on this watch with the Black mother of pearl dial is striking, and the gold plating on the other Invicta speedway I have compares favorably with the 18K finish on my high end watch. I actually prefer to wear the Invictas more now as they really look better.

Invicta Men's 4243 II Collection Silver-Tone Yellow Dial Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I have several Invictas and was attracted to the Invicta yellow dial...it is a unique color and it looks nice up-close.
While I am partial to automatic [self-winding] watches, this analog quartz Swiss Movement keeps very good time...I set it to the www.time.gov website and it has been accurate +/- 1 sec. for the last 24 hours.
One specific downside is the three smaller dials [day,time-zone and date] are almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass...and they are not dead-on accurate, but I can live with it; it may be more important to someone else, though, so it should be mentioned.
The only other negative I would give the watch has more to do with Invicta in general than this watch specifically: their instructions are very poor, since they only provide a booklet and an added pamphlet...all of which do not directly apply to this watch. Some instructions do point you in the right direction on some of the adjustments, but it would be better if they just finally got with it and included an accurate & simple 1-page explanation with a diagram for each model. It is too easy to cause unintentional damage otherwise: for example, buried inside the box is a warning that you will void the warranty and possibly damage the springs if you adjust the watch between 10PM and 6AM! How about it, Invicta? It is especially disconcerting when one considers that Invicta seems to pride itself on a technically accurate, detailed and well-made product...why not extend this pride to the instructions??
One other note: my watch came without the usual plastic protective covering and it had fingerprints on it, so I am guessing it was a returned item...but it seems to be working OK...and I hope to avoid the need to return it and wait for another one.

Its a hobby I guess.I've got about 14 of them.A couple of old Rolex and three nice Omega.I.ve discovered Ivicta in the past year and really like their design and quality. For two hundred or so you can pick up a unique watch that looks like a thousand bucks.This Invecta is my favorite now of all my watches.I really like the calender setup showing the date. My wife says this looks better than my Rolex or Omega watches. The rose gold looks for real. Its just the right diameter as some (over 45 mm) are two imposing. A great buy for $395. I may pick up a duplicate as I like it that much.

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch as my first amazon purchase. It was definitely a purchase that I'm happy with. Especially because I was able to get the watch far below retail price.

The dial size is a little large for my wrist, so I won't be going above a 44mm dial size. But it still sits well on my wrist, and has a great look with the two tone bracelet, and soft polished gold dial color. This watch has a great pop without coming across as gaudy. I'd recommend this watch to anyone looking for a fine timepiece that has great style, and a sophisticated look.
