I'm not sure that the picture shows this watch in all of its amazing beauty. This Invicta is stunning. The golden face perfectly complements the gold links (which aren't too orange or fake-gold color). The blue band around the face is the final touch.Magnificent.

This watch is also larger than a "regular" watch--significently larger, enough so that it really stands out on the wrist without being goofy looking as some of the really big gaudy watches that are in style today.I'm thrilled with this watch, and I'm sure I will be for years to come.A tremendous buy and worth every penny.

Automatic Watches

Automatic watches do not operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. Automatic movements mark the passage of time by a series of gear mechanisms, and are wound by the movement of your wrist as you wear it. The gear train then transmits the power to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the balance wheel. The balance wheel is the time regulating organ of a mechanical watch, which vibrates on a spiral hairspring. Lengthening or shortening the balance spring makes the balance wheel go faster or slower to advance or retard the watch. The travel of the balance wheel from one extreme to the other and back again is called oscillation. Lastly, automatic movements come in different types, including movements that are Swiss-made, Japanese-made, and more.

Also referred to as self-winding, watches with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the watch ticking. They're considered more satisfying to watch collectors (horologists) because of the engineering artistry that goes into the hundreds of parts that make up the movement. If you do not wear an automatic watch consistently (for about 8 to 12 hours a day), you can keep the watch powered with a watch winder (a great gift for collectors). In the wake of up to the minute technology, optimal construction, and a spectrum of inventive design choices you will find the Invicta II collection. Priced to demand attention, no technological or creative rock has been left unturned in order to create such an impeccable example of the ultimate in function and fashion. Invicta II offers a myriad of enticing options including applied indexes, up markers, double-dial dual timers, leather straps, carbon-fiber dials, retrograde chronographs, and moon phase registers. Having fused brains and good looks at a stellar price, the Invicta II is the perfect collection to indulge in all your watch fantasies.

This is a nice looking watch. The only trouble with it is it does not work. It worked the first day I got it. Except I Couldn't get the second hand too work. And now it doesn't work at all. I already shorten the band, so I can't return it. I'm taking it to a jeweler I hope they can fix it. Because I really like the watch. So if your thinking about buying this one. Think Twice. EJK

Invicta Men's 9311 Pro Diver Collection Gold-Tone Watch Review

Invicta Men's 9311 Pro Diver Collection Gold-Tone Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this watch two years ago, after a full month of online research and jewelry store inspections of Submariner-style watches; specifically, Invicta Pro Diver models.By contacting the seller directly (via email) before purchasing, I was able to verify which model design was for sale.FYI - depending on the model year, the 9311 can have a red, gold or black/gold Inivcta logo on the face, the bezel can be coin-edged or scalloped, and the second hand may or may not have a gold logo at the base.My watch has a red logo and a scalloped bezel, and no second hand logo.Incidentally, that watch is marked 9311A on the watch back. The appearance of the watch is cleaner with the scalloped bezel, however, the bezel is a bit more difficult to turn, due to less grip. You will probably only turn the bezel four or five times a year, so its usability is not a critical feature. Also, The logo at the base of the second hand is clutter- I would recommend ordering yours without it.

Some pictures of this watch online portray the glow-in-the-dark indicator at the apex of the bezel to be a bright greenish dot- this is not the case on my watch. The indicator is not pure pearl white, but I wouldn't call it greenish, it is quite similar to the hour and hand markings.

One of the watch features that impressed me originally was the thickness and purity of the gold electroplate.I'm not a watchmaker nor a metallurgist, so I'm not sure what the ads that touted "23K gold electroplate, 7 microns thick" were really representing. What I can tell you is that after two years of at least weekly wear in all environments, (the office, outdoors, swimming, etc...) the gold color is still solid over all the plated parts of my watch.Even areas that have been scratched on the band are still golden.

Another concern of mine was the hardness of the crystal.Nothing ruins the appearance of a nice watch quicker than a scratched crystal. This model has a mineral crystal, not the harder sapphire type.Relax; after two years of indelicate usage, there are no visible scratches on its crystal. The only damage to my watch at this time (outside of incidental scratches on the band) is a scratch on the bezel that has removed some black paint (and replacement bezels are available).

The band has worked flawlessly, and the watch keeps very accurate time.I may adjust it a minute or two every six months, but that is in the noise; adjusting my watch for a different time zone typically has this effect.

Overall, the watch is a great timepiece, and seems to be holding up better over time than a similarly-priced Citizen model I purchased a few years ago (which I have admittedly abused...)I am rating it a four, only because the screw-down crown can be a bit difficult to operate, and the magnifier over the date window is not effective.

The round gold-tone stainless steel watch case measures 43mm (1.7 inches) wide and has a black unidirectional rotating bezel with gold markings. It has a black dial background with large luminous Tritnite hands (with seconds hand) and dotted dial markers. The stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished links. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a date function at 3 o'clock.

Pro Diver Collection
Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance.
Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Invicta Men's 5752 Force Flight Multifunction Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Watch Review

Invicta Men's 5752 Force Flight Multifunction Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Watch

Maybe I got a lemon or maybe I got a return.. but the time and date on this watch could not be set. When trying to set the date it would move the hour hand forward by about an hour while the second hand didn't move. So that created a little problem.. now when the minute hand was placed at the 6(30 minutes) the hour hand would be at a new hour instead of being in the middle of two hours. Once I thought I had the time set, I noticed all that adjusting of the date caused the 24-hour portion to be off by an hour or two. I returned the product rather than send it out for repairs before ever putting it on my wrist.. I hope the next one coming doesn't have the same problems.

Other than that issue the watch was beautiful and large, I just really hope the new one can accurately be set.

Invicta Men's 7211 Signature Collection Mechanical Skeleton Gold-Tone Watch Review

Invicta Men's 7211 Signature Collection Mechanical Skeleton Gold-Tone Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
A few ups and downs, but after the first two weeks, all ups! Skeleton style is just awesome, especially showing it to friends, seeing lots of moving gears, and being able to look right through the watch. Shiny, eye catching, looks good with dress clothes. No batteries needed (child of the digital watch era heh) is definitely nifty and appreciated.

Looking through tons of skeleton watches and needing a dress watch, I finally settled on the Invicta 7211. The first one I had for two days, and one of the 'screws' on the bezel fell right out when the watch took a small knock (they don't have threads, maybe just glued in?). So I returned it and got another one. Three months later, it's held up well and aside from the really, really thick leather band, it's perfect. Initially the hands didn't both point to 12 at midnight, and I was irritated, but they do now - maybe it just needed some time to 'break in'.

It's hefty, weighty and feels very solid - all positive things in my book. It's not Rolex accurate, but then it's not Rolex priced either. It usually is slow about 1 minute at the end of a 24 hour period, but that's really not an issue - if I really wanted accuracy, I'd wear a digital watch (or just look at my cell phone). I want something that looks really cool and tells time well enough to be useful in my day to day life. All of which this watch does perfectly.

The Invicta quality control is a bit spotty, so keep a close eye on it and make sure to note the return period, but if you get a good copy, it's simply a great experience.
