It is an amazing value.
It has a great ratcheting (uni-directional) bezel, a beautiful red face and easy to read numbers and date (friends can read it from across the room). All of my friends are shocked by the size of this watch but they warm up to the beauty and functionality very quickly.
The bracelet of this watch alone is worth the price of the entire watch; it, like the watch, is extremely heavy duty. Unlike the Amazon images, the sub-links are black vs. silver.

*When I first received this watch, I was very disappointed to find that the chronograph sweep second hand was reading 2.25 seconds when it was supposed to be zeroed. I ignorantly exchanged the watch (which Amazon was happy to do) to find that the replacement watch watch was reading -3 seconds at zero. When I finally looked closer at the owner's manual, I found a very simple procedure for zeroing out each of the chronograph dials. Look be fore you leap.

The only things about the watch that I would change if I were designing it, are:
*The crown (canteen) cap. It is not beveled so it has a tendency to chafe the wrist if it slides down a bit.
*The bezel time marking is etched and there is no contrast from the background (a bit difficult to read).
*The bandis also missing a wetsuit adjustment position (if you are going to use this as a dive watch, you may want to buy a rubber watchband).

Overall, I really dig this watch and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of attention and can support the massive size and weight of this beauty.
