(More customer reviews)This Invicta 2900 is such a nice looking watch. At first glance, the craftsmanship was exceptional for the price but it went downhill after 15 minutes observation.

Since I bought2 of them, I feel that I could make some assumption or point out the flaws of this watch.

- Both watches arrived dead - sadly battery were out. Not sure whose false - Invicta or Amazon's QA team.
- The chronograph feature is not one of those timing ones. Rather, the 3 little dials show the 24hrs, the day of the week, and the date.
- The manual is not made specific for this particular model rather, it has been written for all of Invicta watches.
- The black dial rim has some stratches/dry glue on both of the watches at the exact same spot (1-2 O'Clock position between the glass dial and the rim part). I can only assume that this is a factory flaw since the blemish appears on both watches.
- The packagings are poorly done. Compared to other brands such as Seiko or Citizen for the same price range, Inviata package looked cheap. The watches have obviously been knocking around by the time they arrived. The "pillow" in the case is too small for the watch. I thought they were used watches at first.

All in all, I can only say that there are more bad and good. Even though the price is right, Invicta will need many more years to bring up the quality and standard to the same or close level of the big guys. Yes, this watch is beautiful but if it doesn't work, what's the point?

I'm trying not to sound too negative but it has been quite a bad experience with Invicta watch. Not sure if I'd ever order another watch from this company again.
