The markers are painted directly to the bezel and the lume doesn't glow very brightly. Neither the case back nor the crown screw down. The bezel is stiff and doesn't have any lume at the 12. However, I wore it for a few days and it proved to be waterproof in the pool and the shower and it kept dead-accurate time.
